WORK WITH ME

Let’s plan something worth the flight.

I’ve spent over twenty years studying how environments affect people: first as a wellness practitioner and psychotherapist, now as a luxury travel writer and Fora-affiliated travel advisor. What those two careers share is a finely tuned ability to notice what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s quietly undermining an experience that should be exceptional.

I stay at luxury properties because I love them. I write about them honestly because the category deserves better criticism. And I work with clients and hotels because I’ve realized that noticing things, really noticing, is more useful than most people think.

THE SERVICES

TRAVEL ADVISING

Hotels, itineraries, and everything in between

Planning a great trip isn’t complicated. Planning one you’ll actually remember — where everything felt right, nothing went sideways, and you came home restored instead of depleted — is harder than it looks.

As a Fora-affiliated travel advisor with firsthand experience across the Eastern Caribbean and beyond, I handle the logistics, the research, and the judgment calls so you don’t have to. I know which properties photograph well and which ones actually deliver. I’ll tell you about the sargassum situation before you book, the room category worth upgrading to, and the one restaurant everyone skips that you shouldn’t.

And because I book through Fora’s preferred partner network, you receive perks at most properties that aren’t available anywhere else — at no extra cost.

Perks you can’t book yourself

Daily breakfast, hotel credits, room upgrades, and early check-in at most properties — included automatically when you book through me. The hotel gives these to advisors because we bring them business. You get to benefit.

Honest Intel

I’ve stayed at many of these properties. I review hotels for a living with a critical eye. I’ll tell you what the photos don’t show, and I’ll steer you away from a beautiful mistake.

Someone actually in your corner

The best travel support isn’t reactive — it’s the problems that never happen because someone thought ahead. I know which properties have quirks worth knowing about, which room categories to avoid, and what to confirm before you arrive. When something does go sideways, you have a real person who knows your trip and can help you think through it — not a chatbot reading from a script.

Your time, returned

Hours of tab-spiraling, comparison paralysis, and “but what if there’s something better” — handled

Hotel-only bookings are free. For complex multi-destination itineraries or full trip planning, a planning fee applies — reach out and we’ll talk through what makes sense before anything is committed.

HOTEL CONSULTING

Guest experience · Sleep environment · Editorial positioning

Most hotel guests know when something is off. They just can’t tell you what it is or how to fix it.

I can.

After two decades understanding how environments shape human experience — combined with years of staying in, writing about, and critically evaluating luxury properties — I offer something genuinely rare: an outside perspective grounded in both rigorous guest experience standards and a deep understanding of what rest, restoration, and sensory comfort actually require.

Pre-Opening Consultation

The most expensive sleep mistakes in luxury hospitality get built in before the first guest arrives. I work with properties in the design and pre-opening phase to catch them while there’s still time — where the nightlight lands relative to the bed, whether the blackout curtains actually block out light, whether hallway light bleeds under the door at 3am. Small decisions with outsized impact on how guests feel when they wake up.

Sleep & Sensory Audit

A comprehensive evaluation of your property’s sleep and sensory environment — lighting design, blackout quality, acoustic environment, air quality, temperature control, scent, and the program elements that determine whether a guest leaves feeling genuinely restored. For properties with an existing sleep program, this includes an honest assessment of what’s working and what isn’t, with specific recommendations for refinement.

The Essential Audit

A focused assessment of the non-negotiables — the core sleep and sensory conditions that most directly determine guest restoration. Delivered as a concise written report with prioritized findings. Available for local and regional properties. If travel is required, see the Full Assessment below.

Full Mystery Guest Assessment

Your team knows they’ve engaged a mystery guest program. They don’t know when I’m arriving, who I am, or what I’m specifically evaluating. I move through your property as any guest would — checking in, sleeping, dining, checking out — while assessing every touchpoint through a sleep, sensory, and wellness restoration lens. The deliverable is a comprehensive written assessment with specific, actionable findings. Not a scorecard. A document written the way your most discerning guest would write it, if they had twenty years of wellness expertise and weren’t being polite.

This practice is selective. I’m most interested in working with properties genuinely committed to better rest — not just properties that want to say they are.
